Why Summer Seale is Creepy -- and Oppressive

Did you ever see that Blog-Dud spammer on the feed at World of SL who constantly posts pictures of herself nearly-naked and greased with nothing but a bare thong? Pretty much everybody, once they get talking about the problems of World of SL is sure to mention that ugly chic who has no sense of proportion or beauty, who keeps putting up into the feed these inappropriate naked pictures of herself. It would be bad enough that she is always gratuitiously topless. She has to grease and shine up her body like a slab of pork, put glow all over herself, and appear even at Linden meetings looking like a ho "just because". Because this is her "artistic expression". Because "she can do what she wants, and fuck you."

Most people, especially in the fashion world, and even in the adult and BDSM world, have a modicum more of modesty, and either put tabloid-style black strips over the bits in their naked skin blogs, or they put on pasties or strategically pose their nakey avatars so they aren't so in-your-face. And the reason for this is simple: it's not about prudishness, it's not about Rep. Kirk, it's about *taste*. It's about *choice*. I have nothing against pictures or naked people or avatars or porn. I just want *choice* as to when and how I view it. I don't want to have to avoid checking a news feed at work or at home surrounded by kids when I'm going to have this greased, ugly, glowy commodified female in my face.  I'd like to have a header on a blog where I have a choice to click through to the NSFW stuff -- or not.

What I find annoying and disturbing about Summer Seale's classless, tacky act isn't that she has a naked avatar. It's that everything about her presentation of that avatar to me screams "commodification and objectification" -- which in turn inevitably whispers the word "mangina". Because it is men with female avatars who make ugly over-sexualized naked and shiny commodified females like this with no beauty -- not actual women. Women just simply tend to be by nature or nurture or culture to present more softly, with less glare and greasepaint, they are more romanticized and less in focus.

I have no idea who this person is, what they are in RL -- and I don't care. And I wouldn't even be writing this column now because I figure it's basically a personal matter, somebody's bad taste - I'm not in the fashion-blogging interest. I know that just about everybody finds Summer Seale tacky, and only some other mangineko would find her appealing lol.

Were it not for the fact that Summer Seale decided to write a blog called "Why Prokofy is Creepy" -- and then I push back. And will keep pushing back against somebody who is ugly in spirit as well as avatar.

And, why does this commodified, pig-greased concoction find *me* creepy? Because I spoke out against simulated child pornography in SL. Here we go again.

What's extraordinary about this creepy person is her claim, on her blog, "When I’m in SL, I’m enjoying myself or (more often than not) creating stuff. SL has a huge variety of communities which I am involved in on many levels, but which I keep inside of SL and not on blogs or the web or, even, RL" -- when she is everywhere known, if not remembered by name, as the person who puts up the ugly oversexed greased glowy Blog-hudded bodies on World of SL lol. Extraordinary, how people are so heedless of their idiocy.

Summer kvetches that I don't seem to have ever had anything to say about her. That's because there's an awful lot of "lifestyle" dreck and utter tastelessness and stupidity in SL, but I don't see fit to comment on it. That's because I think everyone should be free to do whatever tasteless and stupid thing they need to do in SL, within the TOS and real-life law. Obviously the laissez-faire and largely absent Tao Takashi doesn't care if his feed is spammed up with this glowy neko baring her rubbery tits - if it got just a little bit more spammy than it is right now, however, he might start getting some complaints. It's an eyesore, if nothing else.

Again, repeat: it's not about nudity, sex, or pornography. SL is  inundated with those things. It's about commodification that is relentlessly tasteless and banal -- and I see fit to finally say something about it because I'm being harassed and attacked by this mediocrity because...I don't think child avatars belong in Zindra.

In addition to being a tit-baring greasy mediocrity, it turns out Mr. Seale has a whole World View just like the other manginas like Lillie Yifu -- very common among these geeky extremists who believe in creator-fascism, and no-business-but-my business. Here it is, in typical form:

"Some of us make it our business, or part time work, but regardless of whether or not we cash in every week or month, we actually put shit out on the grid for people to enjoy and use. Without us, SL would be a bunch of Bryce 3D looking islands circa 1998 with default Bryce textures and nothing much more than a chatroom with lots of plywood boxes. Without us, the land that Prok rents to make his buck wouldn’t be worth jack shit."

Unfortunately, because of the tasteless neko banality of Seale, World of SL is just that sort of mediocrity. Nobody thinks its art or even eroticism to look at Blog-HUD after blog-HUD of rubbery latex-like tits with sheen pasted on lol. But here's Summer Seale, um, to save us from the indignity of Bryce-y boxes lol.

And -- hatred of land barons. As if rentals are something ugly, dirty, and non-creative  -- oh,because. Because Summer is a freaky goon who thinks commerce is evil -- except for his own which is somehow sanitized -- oh, just because.

It persists:

"So does Prok actually do anything in SL to contribute? I mean apart from playing a numbers game with land and opening his big mouth to criticize everyone else? Well, here’s the thing: I’m not really aware that he does."

Here, I just don't bother to answer. I think I do enough that is self-evident with my communities, that in fact have beautiful builds in them by the sort of artists that even Summer Seale would have to grudgingly admit are in her "guild" of creaetors. I have the SL Land Preserve, and my regular events. I do a little bit that I can to support music and art -- I'm not a philanthropist, I just try to be a good citizen. The idea that people in the land business "don't contribute" and are "parasites" is one of those evil-fucked up Soviet-like totalitarian ideals that cover up their own evils -- and I'm having none of it. It's bullshit. If it weren't for people like me willing to till the soil, the oversheeny Summer Seale would have nobody to buy her junk.

Here's where it gets more funny and mediocre and stupid:

"Prok is such a person. He’s a polemicist. I respect that art, and it’s a damned fine one. But most polemicists (a la Christopher Hitchens) actually tend to write books and contribute to the general collection of human knowledge. They don’t just open their mouths without producing anything valuable in return. Prok does, however, and that makes him a leech."

Again, I don't bother to answer mediocrities like this with some kind of recitation of RL or SL achievements -- they speak for themselves, even if non-entities don't know about them.

"If Prok had one ounce of her talent and fun outlook, I might actually listen to him and give a damn about whatever the fuck his latest gripe is. But I don’t because, as far as I know, he’s a worthless jackass who just thinks he’s some sort of evil God. He might actually have a point from time to time, but it’s lost in the fetid noxious gas which apparently emanates from one of his orifices which proclaim things to be just so."

This, from a person who injures our retinas week after week with tasteless pink glowy nakey-neko dreck ROFL.

And it's also part of the overall fascistic outlook of the tekkie commie or creator-fascist type (they differ little except in strategy) -- that I am not entitled to proclaim things to be just so.

I proclaim things to be *just so*. And...I get to do that lol. I won't be "rounded up" by the Hive Mind on that one, and join the nakey nekos in the general asstardia of SL.

As for these claims:

"Marianne doesn’t deserve the reaming she got on Prok’s bullshit blog. Marianne was at a party at the opening of the sim to check it out, and there’s nothing wrong with it. There’s also nothing inherently wrong with having a Child AV and certainly nothing inherently creepy about it either. In the same way that some people want to play a cute kid for completely innocent reasons, some people also play tinies (really cute little furry animals). Should we bust up on everyone playing a cute AV just because they’re actually an adult?"

Bullshit -- and bullshit again. Marianne was not "just exploring". She was laying a marker down. She was agitating and pushing the envelope for her cause, which is to legitimate the child avatar everywhere, and only begrudgingly -- and temporarily -- concede some sort of restraints on it with a big sigh. It's damn creepy, as I've aready copiously explained in my past posts on this topic.

The problem with Marianne isn't that she's an adult playing a child avatar; it's that she's trying to erode distinctions, push an agenda, and desensitize people to the appropriateness of having a child in an adult sim. That's *wrong*. Her motivations for this *are suspect*. Whether they are part of some overall pathology or just part of a stubborn contariness and desire always to be appearing to be banging on the already-open doors of SL, I can't know. But it's still wrong.

Now comes the totalitarian punchline, which makes Summer Seale ugly and creepy in ways that even her awful shiny commodified female avatar body could never anticipate:

"But I will say that until Prok actually does something creative and useful and adds to the general collection of things which makes SL a really amazing place to experience (other than playing a land numbers game), he really ought to shut the fuck up about other creators whom are just having some innocent fun, as adults, in a completely legal way."

There you have it. The essence of technocommunism/creator-fascism which is the red-brown coalition of the grid. That unless you create something -- you can't speak. That unless you create something -- you can't criticize. That unless you create something -- you have to shut the fuck up. That unless you create something -- you can't have a moral opinion about the inappropriateness of child avatars on Zindra.

Ultimately, Summer Seale, with her ugly shiny titties and banal dime-a-dozen pink nakeyneko look, is a figure that you have to push back hard against, not because she/he represents poor taste, spam, and inability to understand boundaries, but because he uses this perch to expoud upon and exemplify the tiny mind of totalitarianism that always takes hold on the grid, and has to be resisted.

You don't have to create to have an opinion.

You don't have to create to be legitimate.

You can flip land and be legitimate, even if you do not do it in a creative way.

But in fact running rentals is its own form of creativity, just not in the demonstrable way that a non-entity of sub-intelligent capacity like Summer Seale can grasp. No, it's not shiny, it's not showing your tits, and it doesn't glow. Thank God, for that!

Personally..I find Summer's "Blog" feeds and the intellectualizing of a fetish as being "Creative", so as to "legitimize" it (usually in their own mind), inevitably reveals it's creator to be as thick as a whale sandwich. Not that there's anything wrong with that :)

I took my feed out of World of SL because I use "naughty" words and don't shove them "below the fold" on the feed.
